Tony is Sign Salad’s CCO (Chief Canine Officer). Half German Shepherd, half Husky, he is a majestic goodboi when in the office, yet answers to neither man nor beast when in the streets of his native London. He studied Semiotics at a prestigious canine university where he wrote his dissertation entitled Pet Food, Poststructuralism and Pavlov, exploring the politics of liminal encounters with the canine Other. Tony finds the earlier work of Saussure somewhat pedestrian for his taste but unfortunately struggles to articulate his frustrations in human language. He has worked on a range of FMCG projects including international fieldwork to many pet shops. When not probing the deepest questions of the canine condition, Tony enjoys chasing squirrels and licking mango seeds.
