Having spent time living in Spain and Brazil, Caroline has always been fascinated by the intersection of language, identity, and culture.

This curiosity led her to study languages at Cambridge University, with a particular focus in film analysis, exploring how cinematic language shapes meaning. Before joining Sign Salad, she worked in design research and trend forecasting, before finding her home in semiotics, where cultural insight meets creative strategy.

Outside of work, Caroline is happiest experimenting with new recipes (the cheesier the better), indulging the whims of her cat, and testing her trivia skills at pub quizzes.
