    More broadly, it might be helpful for current projects being done about “realness” and “tastiness” – about how the two concepts are linked to ideas of (national) historicity, democraticisation, and familial love…

    This was such a good article about where the stereotypical “Asian-American” font came from in history – and about how it still functions as a “typographical signalling beacon”.
